Trade Program Software for Interior Design Vendors & Showrooms

Your trade program,
running itself.

Studio Dorion brownstone

Trade verification, designer onboarding, resale certificate management, and tax compliance—so your team approves the right designers instantly, on your own terms, and stays audit-ready without the manual work.

How it works

From trade application to active account—
without a single manual step.

Credenza handles the full lifecycle of a trade relationship—verifying trade applicants, applying your approval rules, onboarding them into your store, and keeping their compliance current—then turns the whole program into sales intelligence you can act on.

Resale Certificate Management

Certificates generated, monitored, renewed—and revoked if they lapse.

Verification engine

Nine checks.
Zero manual follow-up.

Credenza verifies the person behind the paperwork—EINs, tax IDs, licenses, memberships, web presence, press, and more. Nine checks, run in parallel on every applicant, so your team has everything they need to make a decision, instantly.

The result: a trade program with real standards—because every member is actually in the trade.

Credenza closes the gap, not just the application.

Whether a correction is needed or a designer is one signal short of approval, Credenza reaches out to the applicant on your behalf. No back-and-forth for your team.

For vendors & showrooms

Your rules. Your approvals.
In minutes.

Set the bar.

Every vendor's trade program is different. A high-volume fabric house and a luxury furniture atelier have very different bars. Credenza lets you configure exactly what's required to apply—and what earns a qualified designer faster approval.

Define your requirements

Require any combination of the nine signals Credenza verifies: resale cert, EIN, business license, professional memberships, trade references, etc.

Approved in minutes, not days

Designers who meet your criteria are approved in under 2 minutes—nights, weekends, Spring Market. No one waits for a human to come back to the office.

Always in control

Auto-approval is optional—review manually, auto-approve when criteria are met, or mix both. Credenza only approves when your rules are satisfied.

Hard Rules

Required for Approval

Every rule must pass for auto-approval. If any hard rule fails, the application is sent to manual review.

Conditional Groups

Flexible

Flexible paths to approval. Click the and / or between rows to switch how they combine. If any group passes, the application is auto-approved. Groups are connected by OR—create multiple groups for different approval paths.

Integrations

Approval is not the finish line—
it's the starting gun.

The moment you approve a designer, Credenza creates their trade account and applies the correct state-level tax exemption. No one on your team touches a keyboard. That same verified record then flows into your marketing stack, so the designers you just approved are already segmented and reachable.

ShopifyAvailable now

Approved designers become Shopify customers instantly—tagged with your trade pricing and state-level tax exemptions applied. No manual entry. No misapplied exemptions.

KlaviyoAvailable now

Push any filtered set of trade accounts to a Klaviyo list—dormant, sampling but not buying, new this month—and campaign sends, opens, and clicks come back into each firm's activity feed.

Custom e-commerce stacks and ERPs are on the roadmap—if you’re running something bespoke, let’s talk.

Resale certificates & tax exemption

Every resale certificate correct on day one,
and current from then on.

Filled by hand, resale certificates come back wrong—blank fields, missing signatures, exemption boxes unchecked or checked incorrectly, an EIN in the sales-tax-ID line. Dozens of ways to be non-compliant—and no team can keep up with 50 states' rules and forms.

Credenza's Resale Certificate Engine generates the right form for every designer, vendor, and state, pre-fills it from verifiable data, and presents a finished document to sign. No room for error.

From there, every certificate stays current—Credenza tracks expiration dates, re-verifies tax IDs, requests renewals before they lapse, and revokes exemptions that fall out of compliance.

Program intelligence

Stop reporting on your program—
start growing it.

Every application, approval, certificate, and order generates intelligence you can act on. Credenza surfaces it as specific numbers, named accounts, and named products—not just a dashboard.

Program performance

Revenue, active firms, repeat rate, and penetration—tracked period-over-period, with the drivers behind every move.

Member health

Your trade audience ranked into prioritized, exportable segments—dormant VIPs, lapsed buyers, and one-and-done firms, each by name.

Product intelligence

For brands that sample: which products convert from sample to paid order, and how long the nurture takes.

Compliance & geography

Certificate health and where your designers concentrate relative to your nexus states—before they become audit issues.

What Credenza is

Infrastructure, not
a marketplace.

Your relationships. Your margin. Credenza is the trusted identity layer that makes trade programs work—the plumbing your designers and your team never have to worry about.

01

Your brand. Your relationship.

Credenza is built to empower your trade relationships, not intercept them. We run the infrastructure—you own the relationship.

02

Your margin, untouched.

We don't take a percentage of sales, transactions, or designer spend.

03

Your partner. Your roadmap.

Credenza is early, and early vendors shape what we build. Your program's edges, exceptions, and day-to-day friction drive the roadmap. This is just the beginning.

Program structure

Trade pricing,
your way.

Net pricing, flat discount, or tiered discounts—Credenza auto-applies the tags you need to power your pricing. Assign designers to the right tier on approval, then move them up as the relationship grows—automatically when they cross a threshold you set, or manually in one click. Spend is measured over the trailing 12 months, this calendar year, or last.

Onboarding

Your existing clients
come with you.

Your existing trade clients, certificates, and account history come with you—no reapplication required.

This isn't just for new applicants. Your existing clients come onto the platform with their history intact—and from here, everything stays current automatically.

Set up in about 30 minutes.
Import your roster and go live the same day. Existing certificates are read, matched, and analyzed for expiration and validity in the background over the following days.
01

Import your existing roster

Import from Shopify or share a list. Credenza dedupes your contacts, groups them by firm, matches them to existing profiles, and enriches their data where available. Bulk-uploaded certificates are read, matched to the right client, and monitored for expiration.

02

Recognize your existing clients

Imported clients are already in your program—no reapplication needed. If a designer joins Credenza on their own or through another vendor, we link you automatically.

03

Close compliance gaps

Request certificates from designers whose certs are missing, invalid, or expired—or start fresh and request new ones from all. They add a few details and Credenza generates a compliant certificate to review and sign.

Data & security

The data behind trade programs
is tax-sensitive.
We treat it that way.

Encrypted at rest

EINs, tax IDs, and sensitive identifiers are encrypted in the database using application-level encryption. All underlying storage is encrypted at rest.

Strict data isolation

No designer can see another designer's data. No firm can see another firm's data. Vendors only see designers who apply to their program. Isolation is enforced at the database layer by row-level security.

Immutable audit trail

Every certificate issuance, renewal, and application decision is recorded in an append-only log. If you’re ever audited, the record is there—timestamped, tamper-proof, and complete.

We never sell your data

Credenza does not sell, license, or share designer or vendor data with third parties. Your data is used solely to operate the platform.

Your product is considered. Your trade program should be too.
